Howard founded H. Bareham Media Services in January 2018, having worked in the media industry for more than 25 years.
He has worked for some of the world’s leading media companies, including WPP and News UK. Howard has negotiated at the highest level and is adept at creating commercial strategies that deliver growth.
As Commercial Development Director at Wireless Group, Howard successfully developed trading and sales strategies for talkSPORT. He also created the commercial strategy and pricing policy for the launch of the company’s new radio stations in March 2016; Virgin Radio, talkRADIO and talkSPORT2.
Whilst at WPP his expertise was recognised as best in class and he took on the radio trading responsibilities for GroupM. Howard led the £200m radio negotiations at the very highest industry level for over seven years, increasing the group’s competitive market position year on year.
At Mindshare he was responsible for designing and running negotiation training courses for the 200-strong media investment department. Howard led the Mindshare Radio team to awards success at the Arqiva Radio Awards, receiving the RAB Media Agency of the year in 2011 and 2013.
